Youth Sports & Wellness
Squeaky Sneakers Ages 4-5 yrs
This program is designed to be an introduction to sports and games for the pre-kindergartener. Participants will learn sports basics while improving motor movement and eye-hand coordination.
Capture the Flag Ages 6-12 yrs
This energetic game of strategy and team work is great fun. Work together to steal the opposing teams flag. Simple, but challenging. (Note: this program requires a minimum participation of 6 registrants to run.)
Dodgeball Ages 6-12 yrs
Players try to avoid being hit by a ball that players on the other team are throwing at them. Good sportsmanship and a lot of energy is all that is needed.
Floor Hockey Ages 6-12 yrs
This fun indoor sport will keep the kids running and active. The goal is to get the puck in the net with the help of your fellow team mates. Team sports help build character and confidence.
Fencing Ages 13+
Weekly lessons which include history, terminology, form, and footwork with individual hand to hand lessons with the instructors as well as informal and structured bouting. The emphasis will be on maintaining a safe and individual pace. Open to all experience levels. Fencing groups will hold clinics, tournaments and free style events. Valid Y Membership and registration are both required.
Youth Yoga
Preschool Ages 4-5 yrs
School Age Ages 6+ yrs
Our Youth Yoga programs combine yoga poses, instrumental music, and visual aids. This combination helps make the classes easy to follow and fun. The exercises help children develop strength, concentration, balance, and flexibility with an emphasis on fitness, fun and imagination.
Toddler Gym & Swim Ages 12-36 mos. w/ adult
This class is a combination of toddler gymnastics and AquaTot swim class. There will be a half hour each of gym followed by swim with a 15 minute break in between allowing for locker room time.
Preschool Gym & Swim Ages 3-5 yrs
This class is a combination of preschool gymnastics and a preschool swim class. There will be a half hour each of gym followed by swim with a 15 minute break in between allowing for locker room time.

Home School PE Class Ages 6-12 yrs
Teen Homeschool PE Class Ages 13+
These programs are designed for home school youth. Activities include basketball, soccer, fitness, rock climbing, floor hockey, kickball, and more! A great chance to interact with other youth, encourage team work and build self esteem.
PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER FOR THESE PROGRAMS AT THE Y WELCOME CENTER OR ONLINE. THOSE NOT REGISTERED WILL NOT BE ADMITTED.
Youth Martial Arts
Youth Judo Ages 8+ yrs
Falling, throwing, grappling with a focus on the development of body concepts, balance, discipline, sportsmanship, self-esteem building and fun! Optional clinics and tournaments.
Tae Kwon Do Ages 10+ yrs
Korean Karate concentrates on firming the body through aerobics exercise, developing stamina and self-confidence. Tae Kwon Do trains the mind and body, emphasizing development of character and self discipline.
Kung Fu San Soo New Location Ages 10+ yrs
Kung Fu San Soo teaches punches, kicks, leverages, throws and take downs. It helps build coordination, balance and most importantly confidence.
