Age in Motion
Strength training, balance & stretching for seniors. Participants are encouraged to work at their own level and modifications are provided as needed. Also appropriate for the new exerciser or those returning from injury. All ages welcome.
Aquacise
This low to medium intensity class uses all areas of the pool so participants must be comfortable in deep and shallow water. Aquacise uses a variety of formats to work all muscles with minimal joint impact.
Boot Camp
A good ol’ fashion cardio boot camp style class that will sculpt your muscles, flatten your stomach and burn calories while having fun. This class is for all fitness levels.
Butts & Guts
Burn fat and tone muscle while targeting the core and glut muscles.
Core Training
A broad series of stability ball exercises to condition & tone the entire body. Exercises that challenge the core muscles.
Deep Water Challenge
This medium to high intensity deep water class is geared toward active adults seeking a diverse and intense water aerobic workout. Participants must be comfortable in deep water. To ensure sufficient space and equipment class size is limited to 15 participants.
Fit & Centered
This water fitness class includes 40 minutes of moderate intensity water aerobics followed by 20 minutes of a meditative sequence of movements designed to relax and rejuvenate. The majority of this class will take place in shallow water, but there will be some deep water activity tailored to participants’ abilities.
H2O Fitness
This shallow and deep-water class uses medium to high intensity for strengthening, toning, conditioning, and muscular endurance.
Indoor Cycling
A non-impact, high energy cardio ride on stationary bikes, simulating a road bike workout to music. Each instructor brings their own signature riding style to each class with offerings for both beginners and experienced riders. Bikes are equipped for use with or without clips. Classes are limited to 13 participants. Call the Y Welcome Center to reserve a bike up to 24 hours in advance.
Interval Challenge
This is a great class to get you going at noon to pump up your afternoon. Intervals of strength and muscle toning, along with cardio exercises gives you a total body workout. This class is recommended for intermediate or higher fitness levels.
Pilates
Develop long lean muscles and body awareness. You will exercise your smaller, core muscles that support the bodies large muscle groups. You will feel revived, strong and stretched out. Varying degrees of difficulty make this a perfect class for all fitness levels.

Muscle Strength & Range of Movement
Seniors can have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement to improve daily activity.
Tae-Kwon-Dorobics
Welcome to an electrifying challenge that combines both the discipline and martial art of Tae Kwon Do with an aerobic exercise of spirit, mind and body.
Yoga
The Y offers a variety of yoga options. Each instructor brings their own style to their class. This class will strengthen, relieve stress and revive your body without the difficulty or strain on your back and knees.
Zumba®
Come join us as we dance, shake and sweat our way to health with Latin-inspired rhythms. Zumba® combines high energy with motivating music so you won’t even feel like you’re exercising. Let yourself loose in this class designed for all fitness levels.
About our Group Exercise Program:
- A new schedule of group exercise classes is available each month at the Y Welcome Center and here on this site.
- All group exercise classes are free for members with the exception of those noted and are first come, first served. No registration required.
- Non-members must pay the standard guest fee to enter the building each time they wish to take a class.
- Class cancellations will be posted on the news feed of this site and on Facebook®.
