Family Programs

Family programs and special events give families the opportunity to have fun together in a warm and caring atmosphere. The Keene Family YMCA's goal is to provide a positive place to spend quality time together as one unit and to meet other families in our community.

FIRST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH
Family Prime Time
6:00 - 8:30pm

Families can enjoy a variety of activities throughout the evening. Activities may include: swimming, gymnastics, arts and crafts, gym games, activities in the Hub, and much more.

SECOND FRIDAY OF THE MONTH
Kids' Night Out
6:30 - 8:30pm

Parents' night out can be a blast for the kids too!
Bring the kids to the YMCA for an evening of fun created just for them. Some nights wil be themed with specialty activities. Most nights will include swimming, crafts, gym games, pizza, and more.
Grades K-5
$3 with your Family Membership
$5 with any Membership
$10 for Non-Members

THIRD FRIDAY OF THE MONTH
Family Event

PARENT-CHILD DANCE
February 12th, 6:00 - 8:00pm
This is the social event of the year so come dressed in your best!
There will be a DJ, refreshments, dance lessons, photos, and prizes. Only $15 per couple. Every Mommy & Son and Daddy & Daughter is invited!

TIE DYE THE Y
March 19th, 6:00 - 8:00pm
Bring your own 100% white cotton items and we provide the rest! Fun for the whole family in a rainbow of colors!
$10 per Family for Non-Members

Family Swim
Family Swim at the Keene Family YMCA is a great opportunity to enjoy recreational fun in the pool with your entire family! Members are always FREE and we welcome non-members by offering a discounted family price. So, gather your family and friends and join in on the fun at the pool during Family Swim!

Child Watch
(4 months - 5 Years) This is a drop in service while you are in the building working out. Your child will be in a cheerful, caring and nurturing environment. Space is limited, first come first serve. This program is available to our Family Members only.
Program fee: FREE

Parent/Child Programs

Toddler Gym & Swim (18 months - 3 yrs with Parent/Guardian)
This class is a combination of toddler gymnastics and Aquatot swim class. There will be a half hour each of gym followed by swim with a 15 minute break in between allowing for locker room time.

Mixed Bag Magical Story Time (Ages 2-3 years with Parent/Guardian)
A special parent-child story time. A new story every week followed by a special activity where children interact, explore, and play.
