Camp Wakonda offers a true day camp experience for youth in grades 2-5. Wakonda is located at the Elk’s property on East Surry Road in Keene NH. The property offers an outdoor pavilion, a large field for sports and games, a winding brook and an indoor recreation hall, making camp fun regardless of the weather.
Daily camp activities such as sports, games, crafts, science experiments, specialty groups, team building exercises, and nature activities will engage youth everyday, while they build self esteem, character and long term friendships. But the fun doesn’t stop there. Three times a week camper’s will be bused to Surry Beach for swimming and once a week campers will have the opportunity to visit Cheshire Y Camp Takodah in Richmond for swimming, boating, dining hall lunch and so much more.
Whether your child attends Camp Wakonda for one week or all at 8 weeks, each week will be a unique camp experience with fun themes, special activities & trips.
