Family Membership

The Y is a hub of family activity. With a family-centric program schedule and healthy activities and events for the whole family to participate in both together and independently, our Family Membership offers the greatest value for your budget dollars. This membership includes:

  • 2 adults and as many children as live in your household (children enrolled in college and under age 25 may remain on a family membership; an additional adult may be added for an additional monthly fee of $10 per month. This adult must live in the membership household)
  • Premiere priority program registration
  • Free access to ChildWatch services
  • 5 free guest passes per year for friends and family
  • Free access to many programs and events
  • Free access to all facilities and group exercise classes

Adult Membership

The Y offers a state-of-the-art wellness facility with unmatched personal service. We care about our member’s success and the health of our community. With classes and facility schedules that fit your busy life and wellness options for all ability levels, the Y is more than just a gym.

Senior Membership

Active Older Adults will find staying healthy, active and involved easy as members of the Y. Our facility offers easy access to all activities with an elevator and zero entry therapy pool. We offer AOA specific wellness classes, clubs and social activities for added membership value. This membership includes:

  • A single senior age 62+
  • 3 free guest passes per year for friends and family
  • Free access to all facilities and group exercise classes
  • Active Older Adult clubs and activities

Senior Couple Membership

The Y offers senior couples the option of joining the Y together. This membership provides all of the same privileges as a senior membership, but allows access for 2 seniors age 62+ living in the same household.

Youth Membership

Youth Membership allows your child(ren) access to fun activities that promote healthy habits in a safe and structured environment.
This membership includes:

  • A child age 12 or under
  • Priority program registration
  • Free access to many programs and events
  • Access to special youth facilities
  • A parent/guardian may enter the facility with their child, but usage of equipment or facilities is strictly prohibited and can result in the termination of membership.

The Y offers a safe and healthy environment for teens to be active and socialize with their peers.

Student Membership

High school and college students have an affordable student membership option that can be purchased in 4 month (semester) increments or annually, making it easy to accommodate busy school schedules. This membership includes:

  • Access to teen specific programming
  • A single student age 18+ with valid high school or college ID
  • Free access to all facilities and group exercise classes

Military Membership

The Y honors those that serve and their families. Active Duty Title 10 military personnel and their families are eligible for a 6 month renewable membership at the Keene Family YMCA. You must visit www.militaryonesouce.com and download your DoD eligibility form, have the form filled out by the appropriate authority and provide the Y with your Active Duty assignment papers.

Payment Options

Annual Payment

You may choose to pay for your membership in full at any time. We accept checks, cash and credit cards as valid payment for membership. Memberships are valid for one year from the date of payment and are non-refundable. Renewal notices will be sent out one month prior to your membership expiration.

Bank Draft

For your convenience we offer a monthly bank draft option for membership payment. This payment option is not available for college memberships. To activate a drafted membership you must complete the appropriate paperwork with the Welcome Center and submit a voided check. All bank drafts are drawn on the 15th of every month. Insufficient drafts and bounced checks are subject to a $20 additional fee and the Y is not responsible for bank overdraft fees. Please be advaised that bank draft membership can only be canceled upon receipt of a 30 day written notice. Membership fees are non-refundable.

Financial Assistance

The Keene Family YMCA makes every effort to ensure that no person be denied membership because of an inability to pay. The YMCA’s annual Strong Kids Campaign, Monadnock United Way, and other funding sources allow us to offer eligible families and adults financial assistance based on household income. Please see the Financial Assistance section of this site for more details and to download an application.

Services

The YMCA welcomes everyone to come in and try out our facility. The cost for daily guest fees are as follows:

  • $10 per Adult (18 + Years)
  • $5 per Youth (17 and Under. Youth must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older to enter the facility)
  • $5 per Senior (62 and Over)

Locker Usage

Lockers are available for day use only. We ask that you bring your own lock and lock up all personal items while in the facility. The Y is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Overnight use is prohibited and all lockers will be cut and emptied by Y staff after closing. The Y is not responsible for locker contents.

Towels & Towel Cards

Towels are available for $1. Pre-paid towel cards make getting into the gym even faster. Cards may be purchased for $20 and are kept at the Y Welcome Center for your convenience.

Showers

Showers are available for non-members for a fee of $3.

New England Reciprocity and the A.W.A.Y. Program

Always Welcome at the YMCA. The Keene Family YMCA participates in both the New England Reciprocity Program and the A.W.A.Y. Program, which entitle our members to use all YMCAs in New England for free and any A.W.A.Y. participating YMCA, nation wide for free or for a minimal fee. Each YMCA sets its own policy relating to this program.
