Children are our most valuable resource. Along with the basic needs of food, education and shelter, they also need to be loved, guided and supported in their transition to adulthood. The YMCA believes that every child, regardless of his or her family’s financial situation deserves the experience of YMCA programs and services. Through YMCA programs, families have opportunities to connect and grow together. Whether a child spends everyday with us or just a few weeks in the summer, the YMCA is an experience that will help shape them for their futures.

The YMCA is so many different things to so many families. We are a licensed childcare facility where families feel safe that their children are loved and nurtured in our care. We are a swim and gymnastics instruction program where kids learn positive behaviors and build self confidence. We are a fun place to learn healthy habits that sculpt life long behaviors. Our staff and volunteers encourage kids to be themselves and strive for greatness. Every day kids who grow up in the YMCA are building character and becoming caring, responsible adults in our community.
Your generosity can do so much for families who need it the most:
- A GIFT OF $1,000 ( Chairman’s Round Table) Provides 2 families with full year memberships, giving them access to fun, healthy activities that bring them closer together.
- A GIFT OF $750 Provides a child with a month of preschool while their parent looks for employment after a job loss.
- A GIFT OF $500 Provides 3 youth with full year memberships, encouraging them to get their energies out on the basketball court rather than on the street.
- A GIFT OF $250 Provides 2 children with access to summer camp, where they will build self esteem and life-long friendships.
- A GIFT OF $100 Provides 2 children with 7 weeks of swim lessons, a life skill that they might have missed had they not been members of the YMCA.
- A GIFT OF $50 Provides a child with an art class, where he can express himself on canvas rather than on walls.
