Child Care Center

Preschool Associate Teacher

Applicant must have 9 credits in Early Childhood Education and at least 1 year experience in the field. Quality communication skills required and curriculum experience a plus. This is a full time position with benefits.  The hours of the position are 9:00-5:30pm M-F and the center operates year round. This position is working in the Y’s fully licensed childcare center in the Preschool Room (3 year-olds).

ChildWatch

Seeking individuals to work in the Y’s ChildWatch member babysitting room. Weekend and evening hours available. Must be able to communicate with parents and care for children ages 4 months to 8 years in a single setting. ChildWatch is interactive and we are looking for individuals who will engage the children in activities and projects, as well as supervise the room for safety and quality care.

Toddler Associate Teacher

Applicant must have 9 credits in Early Childhood Education and at least 1 year experience in the field. Quality communication skills, a plethora of patience and a true love of toddlers is required. This position is working in the Y’s fully licensed childcare center in the Older Toddler classroom (2 year-olds).

Childcare Substitutes Needed

Seeking individuals who enjoy working with children. Substitute teachers would work alongside qualified childcare staff on a temporary basis. Days and hours will vary based on need. Experience a plus. Must be 18 years of age. Good opportunity for college students with varied schedules.

Welcome Center Representative

The Y is currently looking for an individual with dynamic communication and customer service skills, an outgoing personality and an eye for detail and accuracy. The Welcome Center is the hub of activity, knowledge and information in the Y. A fast paced work environment that includes balancing phone inquiries, registering members and providing service to those with comments and concerns. Applicants must be available to work weekends, with additional weekday and evening hours available. Accepting applications until April 1st.

Summer Camp Counselors

The Y is seeking qualified camp counselors to work in the Y’s 13 Summer Camps being offered this summer vacation. The Y’s camp season begins June 25th and ends August 31st. Each camp runs on its own schedule and there is the possiblity for overlap employment. Trainings, reference and background checks are required for camp employment. If you enjoy working with youth and seeking summer employment please inquire with Kelly Fleuette.
